This very fine antique Russian silver and clear cut glass sculptural centerpiece was made by a prominent silversmith Johann Heinoin in St. Petersburg in 1874.
The silver stem is superbly modeled, cast, and hand chased as a fruit street vendor carrying a basket.

The centerpiece is stamped on base with maker’s initials ‘JH’ for Johann Heinoin, assayer’s mark with initials of Ivan Yevstigneev, date ‘1874’, 84 zolotnik old Russian silver standard (875 silver), and St. Petersburg city mark.
