Made in Vienna, Austria in the 1940s -1950s.
This large vintage brooch is designed as a delicately hand carved frosted rock crystal flowerhead accented with a pearl and mounted on a 14K white gold stem with polished and diamond encrusted leaves (antique rose cut diamonds).
Marked with maker’s initials, 585 gold standard (14K), Austrian horse head assay mark, and ‘W’ for Vienna.
Width of the flowerhead is 43 mm (1 3/4 in.)
Length is 68 mm (2 3/4 in.)
