An unusual antique Victorian era 14K gold pendant / brooch is superbly modeled as a lion’s head holding a diamond (approximately 0.16 ct). The eyes are set with rubies. The entire head is painted with enamel to depict the lion’s mane.

There is a gold hook on the back from which an additional drop pendant can be hung.
