A Vintage Faberge Enameled Pendant Locket
The locket is crafted in gilded silver and gold and completely covered with delicate pale blue guilloche enamel.
The cover is centered with an Old European cut diamond.
Made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917.
Both halves are struck with assay marks of the period and workmaster’s initials of Andre Adler.
Diameter 27 mm (slightly over 1 in.)
Excellent condition.
The pendant is sold without chain.
Wavy lines radiate from the center, simultaneously creating a sunburst pattern and a spiral effect.
The interior is fitted with two rose gold miniature picture frames.
Marked inside the halves with 88 zolotnik silver standard (916) and maker’s initials ‘AA’ for Andre Adler.
The smaller ring is marked with 56 zolotnik gold standard and later Soviet control stamp for 583 gold (14K) from the 1930s.
