The earrings were made in the 1930s, in Sverdlovsk, the capital of the Ural Mountains province.
They are handcrafted in silver topped 14k gold and centered with emerald cut sparkling lavender-purple Siberian amethysts framed by old mine cut diamonds.
The amethysts are approximately 5 ct each / 10 ct total.
Estimated total diamond weight is 2.10 ct.
The amethyst and diamond cluster measures 17 x 15 mm (11/16 x 9/16 in.)
The earrings are marked with early Soviet hallmark for 583 gold standard and maker’s mark.
