This rare antique Russian ring was made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917.
The ring is crafted in 14K gold and features an excellent 1.51 carat Colombian emerald of a deep bluish green color, framed by sparkling old mine cut diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).
The shoulders of the ring are embellished with a pair of diamond-set gold bows.
The diamonds are set in silver over gold.
The emerald and diamond cluster measures 16 x 12 mm (9/16 x 1/2 in.)
Total emerald weight is 1.51 carats.
Estimated combined diamond weight is 1.22 carats.
Marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial Russian gold standard, Moscow assay mark, and maker’s initials ‘ЕШ’.
