A silver topped 14K gold ring is centered with a marquise cut amethyst of a very fine color (19.5 x 11 x 5.5 mm, approximately 5 carats) set in an openwork ornate frame embellished with antique cushion, old mine and old rose cut diamonds.
The amethyst is likely of Siberian origin.
