Antique 18K gold earrings feature colorful mosaic floral compositions made from carved white and pink mother of pearl, blue and green turquoise, red sard, and green marbles. The flowers are inlayed into a contrasting black slate background. The technique is known as pietra dura.
The 10K gold closures are later replacements from the 1900s.
The oval mosaic pendants (including bezels) measure 25 x 20 mm (15/16 x 2/3 in.)
