Made in Vienna, Austria in the 1950s.
The brooch is finely modeled as a lily of the valley. The flower heads are superbly carved from frosted agate and embellished with small diamonds. The green leaf is naturalistically carved from a single piece of nephrite jade and set in 14K yellow gold.
Marked with a horse head assay mark for Austrian gold standard (14K), ‘W’ for Vienna, 585 gold, and maker’s mark.
Length is 65 mm (2 5/8 in.)
