Vintage Diamond Pendant Earrings in Original Box

These diamond drop earrings were made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917.

Four old European cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.6 ct are set in silver over 14K gold

Height – 1 3/16 in. (30 mm)

Both earrings are marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard / Moscow assay office and maker’s initials ‘MC’.

The earrings come in a brown leather retailer’s case stamped: V.M. Chestnov Merchandise mart No 57 Petrograd (St Petersburg’s name during the World War I)
