An antique French fleur-de-lis motif 18K gold cross pendant with black enamel borders is set with sparkling old mine cut diamonds. Fleur-de-lis is an emblem of Virgin Mary. It has also been used as a symbol of the Holy Trinity because of its three-petal design.
Estimated total diamond weight is 1 carat.
The cross is marked on bail with eagle’s head assay mark for the period 1838-1847.
