The title of the book is “From My Album. Sixty Photographs From the Album of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Alexandra Feodorovna”, circa 1915, published by M.O.Wolf, a charitable World War I edition to benefit wounded soldiers.
The book is an imitation of a private photo album of empress Alexandra Feodorovna. There are sixty reproduction photographs (one or two per page) mounted on thick paper sheets to resemble original photo album. Brief annotations to the photographs. Most images were taken personally by the empress between 1912 and 1915 at the following locations: Livadia, Tsarskoe Selo and the yacht “Standard”.
Dozens of photographs of czarevich Alexei, Nicholas II and Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatyana, Anastasia and Maria, few of empress Alexandra. The cover is decorated with double headed eagle bearing the cypher of the empress. Condition: the soft cover has been professionally repaired, replaced cord, few pages with some minor spots.
