This classic antique cluster engagement ring is crafted in 18K gold and platinum. The ring features a rare Burma 2.90 ct cushion cut sapphire of a very nice medium blue color with excellent color depth and saturation. The sapphire is surrounded by bright white old brilliant cut diamonds (F-G color, VS2 – SI2 clarity).
Total sapphire weight is 2.90 carats.
Estimated total diamond weight is 1.20 carats.
The sapphire and diamond cluster measures 15 x 15 mm (5/8 x 5/8 in.)
Marked with horse head French assay mark (with regional symbol for Nancy on cheek of the horse) which was in use between 1838 and 1919 for gold items assayed outside of Paris.
