These 14K gold mounted cabochon cut amethyst cufflinks were made in Vienna, Austro-Hungarian Empire, in the 1890s-early 1900s.

The amethysts are likely of Siberian origin.

The cufflinks are marked with a fox head assay mark for the 4th gold standard and “A’ for Vienna.
