These classic Victorian era 14K gold cluster earrings feature a well matched pair of excellent Colombian emeralds (1.96 carats and 1.67 carats). The emeralds are surrounded by chunky old mine cut diamonds.

Combined emerald weight is 3.63 carats.

Estimated total diamond weight is 3.30 carats (I-J-K color, SI clarity).

The earrings are accompanied by two American Gemological Laboratories prestige gemstone reports (1126215 and 1126216) for the emeralds. The reports state that the emeralds are of Colombian origin and have some minor traditional enhancement which is rare.

Marked with later Soviet control mark for 583 gold standard.

The emerald and diamond clusters measure 16 x 13 mm (5/8 x 4/8 in.)

Total length with ear wire is 23 mm (7/8 in.)

Weight: 3.02 and 2.87 grams.

The earrings have back to front closures, which are comfortable to wear, but it might take some time to get used to putting them on. This type of closure was very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
