The 14K yellow gold earrings feature two very sparkly cushion cut Russian amethysts of light lavender purple color. The amethysts are accented by two chunky old mine cut diamonds (J-K color, SI clarity).

Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard, Moscow assay mark, and maker’s initials.

The earrings have back to front closures, which are comfortable to wear, but it might take some time to get used to putting them on. This type of closure was very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
