This traditional antique Russian polished 14K gold cross pendant with hand-engraved decorations was made in Moscow in the 1890s.
The abbreviation ‘IC’ – ‘XC’ on the horizontal arms of the cross stands for Jesus Christ.
The cross is marked on back with maker’s initials, Moscow assay mark (St. George on horseback), and 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard.
The cross measures (without suspension ring) 39 x 25 mm (1 4/8 x 1 in.)
