A 14K greenish-yellow gold ring is engraved to imitate fish or snake scale. The ring is centered with a bezel-set antique cushion cut natural blue sapphire (7.2 x 5.8 x 2.7 mm, approximately 1 carat), flanked by two old cushion cut diamonds (estimated total diamond weight 0.45 ct).

Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard and St. Petersburg assay symbol.
