The brooch consists of four openwork leaves forming a butterfly. The center is set with a sparkling old cushion cut diamond. The leaves are embellished with numerous old mine cut and rose cut diamonds. The brooch is crafted in silver topped 14K gold (front – silver / back – gold).
The principal diamond measures 5.5 x 5.3 x 3.6 mm and is approximately 0.86 carat.
Estimated total diamond weight is 1.70 carats.
The brooch is 40 mm (1 1/2 in.) wide and 25 mm (1 in.) high.
