The ring is centered with a cushion shape matrix which is finely engraved with a coat of arms: a shield surmounted by heraldic crown of a Count is flanked by flowing ribbons. The shield is embellished with a lily and a sword.
The shoulders of the ring are decorated with stylized leaf motifs in Art Nouveau taste.
The ring is marked with maker’s initials, Austrian fox head assay mark for the 4th gold standard (14K) and ‘A’ for Vienna.
The engraved matrix measures 15 x 13 mm (9/16 x 1/2 in.)
