This unique heart motif Faberge egg features red and pearl white guilloche enamel of very fine quality.
The egg is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K), initials ‘ЯЛ’ for St. Petersburg assay master Yakov Liapunov (1899-1904), and initials ‘AT’ for Faberge’s workmaster Alfred Thielemann.
Height without suspension ring is 18 mm (3/4 in.)
