made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917
A rare original pre-1917 FABERGE miniature egg pendant is covered with a very fine pale blue guilloche enamel. One side of the egg is painted enamel of a bird standing on grass.
The egg is marked on its gold suspension ring with St. Petersburg assay mark, 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and initials ‘ФА’ for Faberge’s workmaster Feodor Afanasiev.
