An Art Nouveau Antique Gold and Diamond Locket
Made in St. Petersburg between 1904 and 1908.
The cover of the locket is applied with diamond-set gold flowers in Art Nouveau taste. The biggest diamond is an antique cushion cut with an approximate weight of 0.30 ct.
The locket is marked on ring with 56 zolotnik gold standard (14K) with initials of St. Petersburg assayer Alexander Romanov, maker’s initials and a later control mark for 583 gold from the 1930s.
