An Antique Renaissance Revival Deep Purple Siberian Amethyst Pendant
Made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908 by the firm of Ivan Khlebnikov,
a major Moscow jeweler and silversmith of the period, supplier of the Tsarist court and several European royal courts
The 14K gold pendant is designed in the Renaissance style of the 1500s.
It features a superb royal purple Siberian amethyst (14 x 11 mm) set in a pearl and diamond frame.
The pendant is marked on the back with 1899-1908 Moscow mark with assayer’s initials of Ivan Lebedkin and maker’s initials ‘ИХ’ for Ivan Khlebnikov.
