The 14K gold bangle bracelet is centered with an excellent Siberian amethyst of a velvety pinkish royal purple color. The amethyst is surrounded by two rows of sparkling old rose cut diamonds. The amethyst and diamond cluster is detachable and could be worn as a pendant.
The amethyst measures 13.3 – 13.4 x 8.5 mm and is approximately 7.23 carats.

The V-shape gold bail is a modern replacement.
Marked with 56 zolotnik (pre-1899 mark) old Russian gold standard, St. Petersburg assay mark, and maker’s initials.

Siberian amethysts are no longer mined. They are rare and could be found only in antique jewelry from the Tsarist era and early Soviet era (1920s-1950s).
