These Soviet era 14K gold earrings feature two perfectly matched brilliant cut 2.23 ct and 2.23 ct Russian demantoids of dark green color. Both demantoids have fine “horsetail” inclusions which are typical for demantoids from the Ural Mountains.
Marked with 583 gold standard and maker’s mark.
Total demantoid weight is 4.46 carats.
Russian demantoids over two carats are rare, especially as a matching pair.
