This original Faberge miniature egg pendant was made in Saint Petersburg, Russia, between 1908 and 1917.
The gold mounted egg is covered with a high quality guilloche enamel of a rare vivid royal blue color.
The egg is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and initials ‘HW’ for Faberge’s head workmaster Henrik Wigström (1862-1923). Wigström was one of the most important Faberge workmasters.
Height without suspension ring is 15 mm (9/16 in.)
