An Antique Russian Faberge silver paper knife, made in St. Petersburg between 1904 and 1908. The handle is decorated with silver coin (1/2 Ruble 1764) from the reign of Catherine II. The coin is set into a ribbon tied laurel wreath. Condition: minor scratches from use on blade.
Length 9 in. (22,6 cm).
One side of the blade is engraved with a facsimile signature.
Marked on the blade with the Imperial warrant, K.FABERGE in Cyrillic, 88 silver standard (916 silver) with assayer’s initials of Alexander Romanov (AP), Faberge’s inventory number 12886 and workmaster’s initials of Anders Nevalainen (A.N.)
