An Elegant Art Nouveau Jeweled Gold Pendant
Made in the city of Odessa between 1899 and 1908
An openwork rose, green and yellow gold pendant is designed as a stylized flower in Art Nouveau taste.
The pendant features a large (14 mm wide) baroque pearl, a triangular shaped rose cut diamond, a drop shaped peridot and nine old mine and rose cut diamonds.
Height – 59 mm (2 1/4 in.) Width – 34 mm (1 5/16 in.)
The pendant is marked on the ring with maker’s initials ‘ Я К ‘ and 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) with assayer’s initials ‘ И С ‘ for Ilya Sorokin, headmaster in Odessa between 1899 and 1908
