An Antique Gold and Enamel Locket Pendant Necklace

St. Petersburg, circa 1885

The front of the locket is set with a pearl and engraved with floral and geometric designs,

embellished with champleve white, royal blue and black enamels.

Width – 20 mm (3/4 in.)

Height with bail – 35 mm (1 5/16 in.); without bail and ring – 26 mm (1 in.).

The locket comes in its original red leather case stamped in French

The interior is set with two miniature gold picture frames.

The ring is marked with St. Petersburg assay stamp for 56 zolotnik gold (14K).
