Moscow, circa 1930 This early Soviet rose gold ring features a beautiful prong set emerald cut Siberian amethyst measuring 11 x 9 x 6 mm (approximately 3.94 ct) of a rich purple color.

There is no modern production of Siberian amethysts in Russia. Today, vintage Siberian amethyst jewelry is even more rare than demantoid jewelry.
