Faberge cigarette case by Andre Adler, St. Petersburg, 1908-1917

Parcel-gilt silver case is covered with fine quality pale grayish-blue translucent enamel over moire guilloche ground, decorated with two bands of gold laurel leaves, diamond-set thumbpiece.

Marked with 88 standard (.916 silver) and master’s initials ‘AA’.

2 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 5/8 in. (6,3 x 9,5 x 1,5 cm).

Weight 6,8 oz. (192 g).

Condition: light pocket wear, some faint scratches to enamel, a few really tiny (1 mm) repaired chips on the rims of the side panels.
