In the center of this platinum ring is an oval 3.99 ct blue sapphire accented by two 1 carat diamonds and ten small round and marquise shape diamonds.
The principal diamonds are: a 1.08 ct old mine cut stone, c. 1800s, I color, SI2 clarity and a 1.24 ct transitional cut diamond, c. 1930s, I color, VS2 clarity.
Estimated total diamond weight is 3.02 ct.
The setting is 20 mm (2/3 in.) wide and 19 mm (almost 2/3 in.) high.
