This delicate Art Nouveau era 14K yellow gold brooch is designed as three flying butterflies embellished with pearls, rubies, rose cut diamonds, one sapphire, and one emerald. The wings of the butterflies are covered with delicate enamels: one with semi-translucent pink and golden green enamel, one with silver and pale lilac-blue, and one with green and blue plique a jour enamel.
Width is 38 mm (1 1/2 in.)
Marked on pin with Austro-Hungarian import mark.
The brooch is in a pristine condition and comes in its original gilt-tooled leather case.
