The 14K gold earrings feature two excellent oval cut Siberian amethysts of pinkish purple color. The amethysts measure 17.01 x 12.53 x 11.64 mm, approximately 13.15 carats, and 16.85 x 13.63 x 12.20 mm, approximately 14.85 carats.

Estimated total amethyst weight is 28 carats.

Marked with later Russian 500 gold control mark.

Weight: 5.57 and 5.44 grams.

Siberian amethysts are rare today. They are no longer mined in Russia and found exclusively in tsarist era (pre-1917) and early Soviet (1920s-1950s) jewelry.
