Large gilded silver and shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh of traditional boat shape with hook handle, made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917 by the 20th Artel.

The lobed body is enameled with stylized flowers in the 17th century style on a gilded stippled ground. Excellent condition.

Marked with 84 standard (.875 silver), ’20A’ for the 20th Artel (cooperative of silversmiths) and later French control mark for foreign silver.
