This antique Russian 14K gold engagement ring features a chunky 8.66 ct cushion cut natural unheated Ceylon sapphire of an excellent medium blue color. The center stone is surrounded by sparkling bright white old mine cut diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

The ring is marked with maker’s initials ‘ИК’.

The sapphire measures 12.5 x 9.23 x 8.17 mm.

Estimated total diamond weight is 1.30 ct.

The sapphire and diamond top measures 19 x 15 x 9 mm (2/3 x 5/8 x 3/8 in.)

The ring is accompanied by American Gemological Laboratories prestige gemstone report no. 1097660 for the sapphire. The report states that the sapphire is of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin and has no evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.
