The brooch is designed as a pair of interlocking flaming hearts. It is finely crafted in 14K gold and silver. The brooch is embellished with old mine cut rubies (likely of Burma origin) and bright white diamonds (E-F-G color, mostly VS clarity).
Approximate total ruby weight is 1.08 carats.
Estimated combined diamond weight is 1.20 carats.
The brooch measures 34 x 34 mm (1 5/16 x 1 5/16 in.). It comes in a brown leather case of St. Petersburg jeweller Cherepennikov.
