This Victorian era set is comprising a large pendant locket and a pair of earrings. It is crafted in silver-gold alloy (approximately 6K gold) and is embellished with famous Bohemian (Prague region) rose cut red garnets which resemble pomegranate seeds.
The pendant is designed as a sea shell surmounted by two inverted hearts. The back of the pendant is fitted with a glazed picture compartment.
The set comes in its original brown leather case stamped in gold with Austro-Hungarian Imperial eagle and the jeweler’s name in German: “V. Meyer & Son Jeweler of the Emperor – Vienna”.
The pendant measures 60 x 40 mm ( 2 3/8 x 1 1/2 in.)
Length of the earrings (w/o ear wires) is 36 mm (1 1/2 in.)
