An elegant antique Russian 14K gold unisex ring is prong set with a sparkling bright white old cushion cut diamond (5.1 x 5.5 x 3.25 mm, approximately 0.75 ct, G color, SI1 clarity). Four prongs of the ring are leaf-shaped in Art Nouveau taste of the period.
The ring is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard with assay symbol for St. Petersburg (Greek letter ‘alpha’).
