Antique Natural Pearl and Diamond Earrings
made in Moscow between 1882 and 1898
The silver-topped gold day and night earrings feature two natural pearl drops, measuring approximately 7.5 and 8 mm.
The pearls are surmounted with rose-cut diamond caps topped with old European cut diamonds (about 0.20 ct each).
The tops are prong set with old cushion cut diamonds (approximately 0.60 and 0.50 ct) and can be worn individually without the pearl and diamond drops.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.50 ct.
Total length with ear wire – 31 mm (1 1/4 in.), without ear wire – 24 mm (15/16 in.)
The earrings are marked with 56 zolotnik gold standard (14K) and maker’s initials ‘CK’,
and come in a Russian brown leather box of the period.
