These very rare antique Russian gold earrings feature two excellent old cushion cut diamonds: 2.60 cts (J color, SI1 clarity) and 2.47 cts (K color, VS2 clarity).
Total diamond weight is 5.07 carats.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K).
Weight 1.62 and 1.53 grams.
Total length with ear wire is 16 mm (9/16 in.)
The earrings come in a beige leather retailer’s box of MOROZOV shop in St. Petersburg. Morozov was a prominent jewelry and silver retailer, a supplier of the Russian Imperial court. The silk lining is stamped with double headed imperial eagle (Imperial warrant) and the following text: “Supplier of the Court of His Majesty – I.E. MOROZOV – St. Petersburg”. The text on the paper label reads “I.E. MOROZOV – St. Petersburg”.
