This antique Belle Époque necklace is finely crafted in silver-topped gold (silver front, gold backing). The centerpiece features a pear-shaped aquamarine of excellent quality, displaying a vivid light blue color and very good transparency. The aquamarine is set within an elegant openwork bezel, accented throughout by numerous old mine brilliant cut and rose cut diamonds, all mounted in silver over gold. The necklace exhibits refined craftsmanship characteristic of the Russian Belle Époque period, with delicate metalwork and graceful proportions consistent with early 20th-century design.
The silver chain is delicately embellished with small turquoise beads, complementing the central design.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard, Moscow assay mark, and maker’s initials ‘ ФЛ ‘ (Feodor Lorie).
