The gold mounted egg-shaped pendant is covered by deep straberry red translucent enamel. One side of the egg is enameled with a white flag and blue St. Andrew cross, a flag of the Russian Imperial Navy. Almost certainly, this rare egg pendant was made during World War I (1914-1917).
Marked on suspension ring with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard and maker’s initials ‘EE’.
