A Vintage Art Deco Demantoid and Diamond Ring

Moscow, circa 1930

An elaborate openwork silver and gold ring features a very fine vivid green Russian demantoid garnet in a surrounding of 34 rose cut diamonds.

The demantoid is 5.6 x 3.4 mm, approximately 0.75 ct.

Estimated total diamond weight – 0.55 ct.

Height 21 mm (13/16 in.)

US ring size 7 (18 mm)

The ring is struck with 583 gold hallmark (14K) – Moscow assay office, 875 silver and maker’s marks.
