This finely modeled bow shape brooch is crafted in platinum and set with old cut diamonds and calibre cut sapphires. The pin and pin guard are made of 14K gold.
Estimated total diamond weight is 1.50 carats.
The brooch is marked on frame with butterfly shape Austrian assay mark for platinum. The pin is marked with maker’s initials and a rare bear’s head mark for 585 gold which was in use only for three years, from 1922 to 1925.
