A Highly Unusual Art Nouveau Antique Russian Solitaire Diamond Men’s Gold Ring
made in Odessa between 1899 and 1908
The ring is crafted in 56 zolotniks (14K -583) three color gold – green, yellow, pink, and embellished with one Old European cut round brilliant diamond.
The ring comes with a gem lab diamond grading report stating that the diamond is approximately 1.40 ct, 7,6 x 3,9 mm, depth 51.3%, table diameter 47%, girdle thickness Thin to Medium, clarity VS/1, color K, polish Very Good, symmetry Good, fluorescence None.

An elaborate Art Nouveau intertwined leaf design in rose, green, and yellow gold.
Maker’s initials and the left part of the assay mark were lost due to the ring resizing.
Fortunately, the right part of the assay stamp has survived – head facing left (the 1899-1908 period) and assayer’s initials Cyrillic ‘ И С ‘ for the chief assay master of the city of Odessa,
