A Faberge Diamond Solitaire Gold Ring
circa 1900
A simple, yet elegantly designed, reeded 14K gold ring is set with a sparkling old European cut diamond
(7.8 – 7.9 x 4.85 mm, approximately 1.89 ct, J color, VS2 clarity).
Reeded patterns were frequently used by Peter Carl Faberge.
The recently discovered Third Imperial Faberge egg is also of a reeded pattern.
Faberge rings are extremely rare in general. Faberge rings with large diamonds are particularly rare.
US ring size – 7 3/4 (18 mm)
The ring is marked with maker’s initials ‘ К Ф ‘ for Carl Faberge ( Карл Фаберже ).
