made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917.
This antique gold-mounted silver egg is decorated with translucent blue guilloche enamel over an engine-turned ground, complemented by white opaque enamel arranged in a spiral pattern – a distinctive Faberge design.
The egg is marked on the gold suspension ring with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and initials ‘AA’ for Faberge’s workmaster Andre Adler.
Length (excluding suspension ring): 17 mm (5/8 in.)
