An Antique Multi Gem Gold Bracelet
Made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908.
The greenish yellow gold bracelet is set with twelve multi color emerald cut gemstones –
garnet, amethyst, bloodstone, aquamarine, emerald, blue onyx, carnelian, sardius, peridot, aquamarine, citrine, green onyx.
The clasp is embellished with a large cabochon cut almandine garnet.
The rectangular gold links of the bracelet are engine-turned (guilloche) with a wave pattern to increase light reflection.
Weight – 31.1 grams
Size of the gemstones – 5,2 x 6,5 mm
Width of the links – 10 mm (3/8 in.)
Length of the bracelet – 17,6 cm (7 in.).
The clasp is marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) with initials of Moscow assayer Ivan Lebedkin and maker’s initial.
